5 Adjusting Display Brightness

Tap the button on the System Management Toolbar and make the

settings on the dialog box that appears.

You can also make LCD brightness settings from the keyboard. See

page 27.

Press

+“1” (

) to make the screen darker, and

+“2” (

to make it brighter.

6 Changing the CPU Clock Speed

Controlling the CPU clock speed reduces power consumption and

helps to extend the life of the battery pack.

On the System Management Toolbar, tap the

button and make the

settings you want on the dialog box that appears. You can select one

of three CPU clock speed settings: 50%, 75%, or 100%.
